Sweet Child of Mine, my new favorite song!!!!

Anyone notice how 80s bands didn't have all the tweaks to their voices they were just naturally amazing and talented, sometimes i think "singers" like Taylor swift who get a lot of cover work done(you can tell when she sings live) and rappers like t-pain have started to kill the natural beauties of music, guns n roses, Ozzy, journey, poison, Cinderella, all the greats of the 80s, listen to live shows, they sound the same, they sound amazing!! lets get back to the music that inspires thought and feeling without having to spend 3 months in a recording studio fixing audio cause the person cant really sing... who's with me?!?!

I was sitting there this morning listening to and watching a video for "sweet child of mine" by Guns 'n Roses on YouTube and I realized that he actually sings that way it wasn't something they changed, you can see throughout his face he is working to making the sounds himself. Poison is the same if you watch a video or live show they don't have all the super fancy equipment we have now-a-days they have their instruments including those amazing voices of theirs. I don't know how, when or why music has changed over the years because it doesn't need to, I'm not saying that music now is horrible and not to listen to it, but take the time to listen to some 80's rock bands and enjoy the sheer beauty of the music, actually THINK about what your hearing instead of mindlessly singing along with the words, lyrics should be written for a reason and should have a very strong message, such as they did back in the 80s.

To be honest I NEVER understood why my parents loved listening to their old Cd's and why they would turn it on, but whenever I wanted to play my music they would nearly want to die, now that I'm older I realize they were right all the music i seem to listen to is mainly mindless babble is comparison, there is a surrounding beauty in the music of the 80s, and yes i am mainly talking mainly about 80s "hairbands". I have a feeling my parents are going to get some of their Cd's jacked so i can listen to them in the car =] Thank you mom and dad for hours and hours and days and weeks and months of 80s music while doing chores or just hanging around the house because if we had never listened to them then I wouldn't be able to appreciate them now!! so thank you.
